Here at Amtek Plastics UK Ltd, we are always looking at methods of becoming more efficient in what we do. We are currently putting a plan together for investment into robotics within our factory. We already have robotic equipment on site, so we are fully aware of the benefits of this, and this is why we are looking into the options of adding further robotics to more of our injection moulding machines. With this in mind, we are looking forward to visiting Interplas in September where we will be able to touch and feel the most up to date equipment the market has to offer us. The main reason for looking into further investments into robotics is to help running round the clock to include evenings and weekend. We can then focus our team onto more of a quality position, rather than simply picking and packing plastic parts. This is shaping up to be a very exciting chapter in the growth of our business.
